CCC’s Annual Art Show Extravaganza

posted Aug 14, 2009 1:00 PM by Geoff Dutton   [ updated Aug 14, 2009 3:04 PM ]

Commerce Children’s Center invites YOU to our annual Art Show on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 in the lobby of NIST’s Building One. The Art Show will take place from 5-6pm, and is intended as a gathering for CCC families (current and incoming!) and any interested DoC folks … come on by! We’ll have a few activities to occupy the children, light refreshments and most importantly, MANY great examples of the creative expression activities we offer in our program. We’re certain you’ll be amazed at the originality and imagination displayed by our children!

Building One sits at the intersection of Broadway and 27th Way. Its front door and lobby face Broadway, with a very large pine tree in front of it. You can walk from the Center or park nearer to Building One on its left or right. Look for a casual map on the front door of the Center to guide you. Enter through Building One’s front door --- Center staff will be on hand to greet you!

Families are encouraged to pick-up on Tuesday as close to 5pm as possible so you and your family can enjoy the art show. Teachers will attend the art show to socialize with families, discuss the displayed art and lead a few activities. Families are expected to fully maintain supervision of their child and enforce Center expectations during this event.

Questions? Please reply to Trey at treyhahn@boulder.nist.gov – thanks, and see you at the Art Show!
