Staff Training and Achievements
Staff
training is important to program quality. Staff attend two
company-sponsored training days a year and are provided individual
ongoing training with the Program Director. Staff are encouraged and
supported to participate in trainings offered in the community. These
training opportunities include programs such as Boulder County Quality
Infant and Toddler Training, High/Scope training, Boulder County Health
Liaison Training, the Mary Culkin lecture series, college coursework
and much more.
Highlights
Scholastic Early Childhood Professional Award Winner for Infant Teachers,
Jackie Eberl, CCC Infant Nursery Supervisor
“At 10 months old, the baby was not rolling over, sitting up, crawling,
reacting socially, or showing any curiosity about her environment…in
the child’s previous care setting, she had been left in her crib all
day. So, Jackie went to work.” Eventually, through Jackie’s
intervention, the child went on to meet all normal developmental
milestones.
